Hideo Ōba was born on 28 February 1910 in Tokyo, Japan. He was a director and writer, known for Wakai sugao (1959), Shu no kafun (1960) and Rishû (1960). He died on 10 March 1997 in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, Japan.
