Biography

Daniel Écija was born in 1963 in Wittenoom, Western Australia, Australia. He is a writer and producer, known for Periodistas (1998), Médico de familia (1995) and Paco's Men (2005). He was previously married to Belén Rueda.

Had three children with Belén Rueda: Belén Écija (b. 1994), María (b. 1996) and Lucía (b. 1998). The second of them died because of a heart problem when she was still a baby.

Current partner, since 2005, is model Vanessa Lorenzo.

Brother of Arantxa Écija.
