- Rita Zohar was born in Balta, Ukraine. She is an actress and writer, known for Amadeus (1984), The Last Love of Laura Adler (1990) and Waterworld (1995).

- Was born in a concentration camp in Ukraine, where she was hidden during her infancy in a gap between two walls beneath a window. The camp was liberated by the Russians when she was 4 1/2 months old.
- Has frequently appeared as a Holocaust survivor in films and television shows, such as the 7th Heaven (1996) episode I Hate You (1997) and the film Eleanor the Great (2025).
