Biography

David Zimmerman is known for Meet the Fockers (2004), Penn & Teller: Bullshit! (2003) and Hunny-Bunny (2020).

David was honored with the prestigious Media Access Award at the "25th Silver Anniversary" of the Media Access Awards. The Awards were held on October 14, 2007 at Universal Studio's Globe Theatre. Other recipients of the Awards included Stevie Wonder, Norman Lear, Boston Legal, Fern Field, Jim Troesh, Entertainment Tonight, Daryl "Chill" Mitchell, John Levey, Dancing with the Stars, Anthony E. Zuiker, Tari Hartman Squire, Karen Meyer, Loreen Arbus, Linda Bove, and Music Within. Past honorees have included Kirk Douglas, Carrie Fisher, Michael J. Fox, HBO, Ray Charles, Robert David Hall, Christina Kokubo, Ricardo Montalban, Laura Gardner, CBS, Bobby and Peter Farrelly, among many others.

For his consistent work in bringing people together, David was honored with the prestigious 2022 "SAG AFTRA Disability Awareness Award" by the SAG AFTRA National People with Disabilities (PWD) Committee at the 2022 Media Access Awards.
