Marion Zimmer Bradley was born on 3 June 1930 in Albany, New York, USA. She was a writer, known for Darkover, The Mists of Avalon (2001) and Prisoners of Gravity (1989). She was married to Walter Breen and Robert Alden Bradley. She died on 25 September 1999 in Berkeley, California, USA.
