Biography

Bruno Ziener was born on June 11, 1870 in Oberplanitz, Zwickau, Kingdom of Saxony [now Saxony, Germany]. He was an actor and director, known for Des Vaters Schuld (1918), Seine beiden glücklichsten Tage. Hasemanns Glück und Ende (1916) and Das Recht auf Glück (1919). He was married to Manny Ziener. He died on February 9, 1941 in Berlin, Germany.

Bruno Ziener also directed movies from 1915, an activity he carried on till 1923.

The actor and director Bruno Ziener already appeared regularly in movies in the early 10's and counts to the first silent movie stars of the German film.

Bruno Ziener was more often reduced to support roles in the 30's but he was able to impersonate these roles very impressive.

Bruno Ziener could act in movies till to his death in 1941, to his last cinematical works belong "Die lustigen Vagabunden" (1940), "Leidenschaft" (1940) and "Der Gasmann" (1941).

Bruno Ziener was married with the actress Manny Ziener.
