Biography

Joseph Ziegler was born on November 7, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. He was an actor, known for The Grid (2004), Side Effects (1994) and Relic Hunter (1999). He was married to Nancy Palk. He died on July 28, 2025 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Studied theatre at the University of Minnesota (graduating with a B.A.) before moving to Canada to continue his education at the National Theatre School of Canada.

Canadian stage and screen actor, stage director and acting teacher.

One of the founders of the Soulpepper theatre company.
