Biography

Hans Zesch-Ballot was born on May 20, 1896 in Dresden, Germany. He was an actor, known for The Plot to Assassinate Hitler (1955), The Night with the Emperor (1936) and Gaslicht (1960). He died on September 1, 1972 in Munich, Bavaria, West Germany.

Versatile German supporting actor, on stage from 1919, in films from 1930.

Although he never impersonated leading roles his acting abilities were also memorized with his support roles.

His creative power remained unbroken after the war.
