- Michelle Zeitlin is known as a creative catalyst and connector. As the President of More Zap Productions & Management LLC in Los Angeles, she has helped to launch careers for many top actors in film and TV and on Broadway. More Zap's outstanding clients have earned a Grammy, Emmy, Spirit and Tony award, respectively. Her work representing and managing Dr. Paul L. Hokemeyer, leading psychologist and author of Fragile Power, includes creating original fact based content for live workshops and recorded media and panel discussions with other leading guests including Denise Woods and Donna Ross-Jones, The Aster LA.
Michelle has a B.A. in liberal arts from St. Mary's College in Los Angeles and dance, drama, film and music training from life and work experience as performer, producer and talent manager. Michelle is a mentor and coach through her educational platform, Passion to Power (Passion-Power.com) Michelle is especially proud of her ability to scout, source, develop and launch careers and make dreams come true.
As a talent manager and literary agent her clients are "actors, artists and authors" and she is proud of the development of "people and projects" for original content in all media, including in publishing, including over 1.5 million books sold for the deal she negotiated (on behalf of former client/author Patrice Karst) THE INVISIBLE STRING, with the publisher, Hachette, Little Brown for Young Readers with co-agent, Jane C Hamilton. Her work as Director/Choreographer includes Oscar style events for major brands. She worked in Paris, France and all over the US and Canada with Nike, Bob Talmage, Prods. Including shows with Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Natalie Cole. She cast and choreographed 9 spectacular stage numbers with Paul Strabley, Iaconno Productions, for corporate events with thousands in attendance and featuring Debbie Reynolds, Peobo Bryson, Gladys Knight, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
As keynote speaker, her engagements include talking about dance, fitness and wellness: Move It, London, 805 Writers Conference, IDEA, SCBWI, and THEA. Honors and awards include "BEST TV Producer Pitch" at the Banff TV Festival, and the Leap Award with Entrepreneur. Her work is also offered for education, arts and film schools around the world, including residencies at the InStudio School, LA Center Studios and UC Weston, The Space, Australia and PDC in Tokyo, Japan.
Over four decades in the business as a performer, Michelle was a ballerina with the Joffrey Ballet in NYC, worked on Broadway on the creation of SCANDAL with Michael Bennett, starred in many stage productions regionally and internationally and was recognized by top directors such as Michael Kidd, Debbie Allen, Michael Bennett and Bob Fosse. She tested for series roles in the 1980-90’s and had the opportunity to meet some of the legendary executive producers including James Burrows, Tracey Ullman, Robert Zemekis. Her first appearance was in Facts of Life, and soon after that she was recurring in many TV shows including (the original) Matlock. She was on the FAME TV Series, NBC/MGM and shot the first season of 13 episodes.
More Zap is actively pursuing placement of scripts for film and television, digital media and Broadway in genres including romance, slasher horror and kid & family content.
