Victoria Zdrok was born in Kyiv, then the capital city of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (now Ukraine). At the age of 16, she moved to the United States to study. At that time, she was the first Ukrainian student officially permitted to study in the United States, and received a lot of attention from the media, as the messenger of peace and international cooperation. By the age of 18, Victoria had graduated from West Chester University summa cum laude (3.96) with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Soon thereafter, she completed a highly competitive dual program in law and psychology and obtained her J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law, as well as Ph.D. degree from Drexel University. Within the next following months, Victoria found herself in Playboy magazine as Miss October 1994. Since then, she has appeared in numerous foreign issues of Playboy Magazine, crowned as Philadelphia's "Best Beauty", gracing the covers of and being profiled inside "Philadelphia" magazine's August 1994 and May 1995 issues, featured numerous times on Entertainment Tonight (1981), Extra (1994), American Journal (1993), Hard Copy (1987), Inside Edition (1988), The Howard Stern Show (1990), "AM Philadelphia", Last Call (1998) and other TV shows. Residing in New York, Victoria kept busy with her modeling career, as well as working as an attorney and studying for her doctoral dissertation in clinical psychology.

Is a practicing attorney as well as a glamour and fashion model.
She is one of the few models who have been in both "Playboy" and "Penthouse" magazine, as also did Deanna Baker, Ursula Buchfellner, Teri Weigel and Lynn Thomas (only Victoria and Lynn Thomas have been both Playmates and Pets of the Month).
At age 9 she showed her defiance to the strict Soviet school system by cutting her red tie (part of her school uniform) at her school's "Young Pioneers" ceremony. The tie represented the Soviet banner, and the act was a huge black mark on her record.
Speaks five languages.
Has a minor role in the 1999 James Bond short story "A Midsummer Night's Doom" by Raymond Benson.
