Biography

Melpo Zarokosta was born in 1933 in Athens, Greece. She was a writer and actress, known for Ap' tin komodia sto drama (1970), Alithines istories (1974) and To leventopaido (1969). She died on January 16, 2026 in Athens, Greece.

Moved with her family to Alexandria in Egypt at the age of 14, and then to Australia where she pursued studies in theater, acting, directing and radio production.

Took part in several stage productions in Sydney, before returning to Greece aged 25.
