- In March, 2009, Hammad Zaidi created and founded "Script Accessible", a screenwriting contest to promote writers with disabilities, as well as writers who write about disabled characters. "Script Accessible" was housed at the Slamdance Screenwriting Contest from 2009-2010. In 2009, the awards ceremony was held in Park City, Utah in conjunction with the WGA-West, and the 2010 awards ceremony was held at the WGA-West offices in Los Angeles.
- Won a Telly Award for writing "Josh's Pillowcase", a national PSA.
- Zaidi created and wrote "Going Bionic," a weekly column that appeared on FilmThreat every Tuesday, from May 18, 2010 to March 3, 2015 (256 articles).
- Hammad is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Ryz Sports Network, which is distributed on every major FAST streaming platform in the United States.
- Hammad has attended every Super Bowl since 1993. It's his annual birthday trip.
- Hammad doesn't know what alcohol tastes like, nor has he ever had a cigarette, or ever tried any drugs. Hammad prefers an ice cold Dr. Pepper in a glass bottle.
