Brian Yuzna was born on August 30, 1949 in Manila, Philippines. He is a writer and producer, known for The Dentist (1996), Beyond Re-Animator (2003) and Faust (2000). He is married to Cathy Yuzna. They have four children.

He was born in Manila, Philippines, to American parents, from Minnesota, Florence (Lindbeck) and Sylvester Yuzna. His father was of Slovenian descent. His mother was of Finland-Swedish and Italian ancestry.

He's the father of actress Zoe Yuzna, and of actors Conan Yuzna, Noah Yuzna and Logan Yuzna.
