Marv Ystrom(1929-1999)

American optical effects specialist. After service in the Korean War
with the American Army, Ystrom found work at Desilu Studios creating
titles and optical effects. He worked in commercials exclusively for a
number of years before starting his own business, Optical House. He
worked on numerous high-quality films, creating visual effects, and
occasionally ventured back into television. He was married to singer
'Jan Kelly', with whom he had a daughter, casting person 'Lisa Ystrom'.
He died in 1999 of a ruptured aneurysm at the age of 70.
