Biography

Malcolm Young was born on January 6, 1953 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He was a composer and actor, known for School of Rock (2003), Last Action Hero (1993) and Maximum Overdrive (1986). He was married to Linda. He died on November 18, 2017 in Elizabeth Bay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Died four weeks after his brother George.

Longtime guitarist and founding member (with brother Angus Young of the famous hard rock group AC/DC.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of AC/DC) on 10 March 2003.

Successfully completed rehab in 1989 to deal with his drinking problem.
