Trisha Yearwood was born on September 19, 1964 in Monticello, Georgia, USA. She is a music artist and producer, known for Con Air (1997), For Love of the Game (1999) and Hope Floats (1998). She has been married to Garth Brooks since December 10, 2005. She was previously married to Robert Reynolds and Christopher Latham.

Received her association degree in business from Georgia's Young Harris College (1984). Received her bachelor's degree in music business from Nashville's Belmont College (1987). Member and alumni of Pi Theta Kappa.
In 1996, while flying from Nevada to New York, Trisha saved a man's life from certain death. Francesco Maccarrone, a baggage handler, was trapped inside the belly of an airplane. When the plane left the gate, Trisha heard pounding and screaming from under the seat and insisted the pilot stop the plane. After he emerged from the airplane, a shaken and relieved Francesco said "I was a big Reba fan, but now I'm an even bigger Trisha fan.".

She started out singing demonstration records or "demos" in Nashville. She was so good at this, she would double park in front of the studio, do the song in one take, then leave before she would get a ticket.
In 1994, her first Grammy came in the Vocal Collaboration category for "I Fall to Pieces" with Aaron Neville. In 1997, she was a double winner: She captured the Best Female Country Vocal Performance Grammy for "How Do I Live" and Best Country Vocal Collaboration for "In Another Eyes" with Garth Brooks.

Songs are like movies to me, and so you put yourself in the movie. You become a character in the movie. The new ones are exciting because they're fresh. But if it's not that, if the story is not what you get into, maybe it's the crowd response. You hit the first chords of 'She's In Love With The Boy' and 20,000 people start to scream, you're pretty motivated. You get what you need. And it's a great story. It works.
I always want to sing, but I don't always want to be trying to have #1 records. I don't think you can do it forever. I don't know what the time span of that is going to be. I want to sing because I want to sing.
I don't spend time wondering what might be next; I just focus on trying to savor every day. Maybe that's the biggest lesson of all.
I've been blessed to live a lot of dreams. But finally looking the way I want, feeling better than I ever knew I could and wearing tucked in shirt with a black leather skirt - that is way up there!
