Susan was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She couldn't sing a note to save her life, so she left Nashville to become an actress & producer!
Susan graduated with honors from the University of Southern California, where she earned her B.A. from USC's film school.
She is one of the executive producers of the 2026 Oscar nominated documentary, "Come See Me in the Good Light".
Audiences recognize Susan as "Jessica Wicks" from the hit NBC comedy, "Parks and Recreation".
After college, Susan earned her comedy stripes at the famed Groundlings School. It was there that a casting director saw her perform and cast her as the cheery flight attendant in Susan's first film, "Almost Famous".
Susan has starred alongside Parker Posey in the latest Christopher Guest film, "Mascots" (now on Netflix) and has acted in dozens of comedies.
Susan and her husband, comedian Kevin Nealon, started the Leaky Pen writing scholarship - which provides financial support to kids in the creative arts.
On Saturdays, Susan enjoys doing improvisation and theater games with students in the Down Syndrome population.
Susan and Kevin live in Los Angeles with their son, Gable.
