  • Robert Peter Yannetti was an actor and long-time director of episodic television and films. He was born in The Bronx, New York on May 30, 1953. He was the youngest of two sons born to Albert and Emily Yannetti and brother to Richard P. Yannetti. Bob lived in Yonkers and Bedford New York, working at his father's store, Stewarts Market, through college. He graduated from Fox Lane High School in New York in 1971 and continued his education at SUNY Buffalo and UCLA where he earned his MFA in Theater Arts in 1978.

    Bob was married to Leslie Winston Yannetti for thirty years and had two daughters, Allison Yannetti and Joanna Yannetti. Bob was First Assistant Director in the Director's Guild of America since 1982. He began directing episodic television in 2002. His directorial career spanned thirty years. He died suddenly on April 15, 2011.
