Biography

Jean Yanne was born on July 18, 1933 in Les Lilas, Seine-Saint-Denis, France. He was an actor and writer, known for Tout le monde il est beau, tout le monde il est gentil (1972), Weekend (1967) and Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001). He was married to Jacqueline Renée Guellerin Allard. He died on May 23, 2003 in Morsains, Marne, France.

Began to work on The Return of James Battle (2004) playing the role of Bosco, but died during the filming of the movie. He was replaced by Jean-Pierre Marielle and was given a dedication at the beginning of the end credits : "A Jean Yanne...".
