Soledad Esponda

Soledad Esponda is a film, television, and theater actress who has developed her career in Mexico, Miami, and her native Puerto Rico. Her film credits include "Under Suspicion" (Revelations Entertainment/TF1 International), in which she acted alongside Morgan Freeman; "El primer día" (Bohemio Productions), for which she received the Best Actress award at the Miami International Film Festival; and "Celos" (Único/3rd Eye Films), which won Best Drama at the Rincón International Film Festival.
Her television work includes the series "Narcos: Mexico" (Gaumont/Netflix), "Lobo, Morir Matando" (Telemundo), "Lucy es el 7" (Somos Productions/Piñolywood Studios, HBO Max), and "Angeli e Diamanti" (Fidia Film), as well as the telenovelas "Rosario" and "Sacrificio de mujer" (Univision/Venevisión) and the anthology series "Decisiones" (Telemundo), among others.
Soledad has performed in over a dozen plays across Puerto Rico, Miami, and Mexico. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico and continued her acting training in Miami and Mexico with renowned directors, including filmmaker Luis Mandoki. She has also trained in various dance disciplines, including flamenco, jazz, hip-hop, and salsa, and has performed in musicals and dance-theater productions.
