Biography

Zacharias Yaconelli was born on August 30, 1896 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was an actor, known for Amazon Quest (1949), O Grito do Ipiranga (1917) and Waterfront (1954). He died in October 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Cousin of Earl Douglas.

Cousin of Frank Yaconelli.

Was hired as a coach to improve Carmen Miranda's English on two of her early films. Carmen was one of the few stars with a strong foreign accent who was perfectly understandable to American audiences.
