William Lord Wright(1879-1947)

In 1917, Wright went from the newspaper field into writing silent films
for the Selig Company. He later joined Pathe and for a while headed
Universal Studios scenario department. Wright also authored "Photoplay
Writing" which was used as a supplementary text in New York Institute
of Photography. Wright suffered from poor health a number of years
before passing away.
