Biography

Maggie Wright was born on January 23, 1944 in London, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Department S (1969), Joseph Andrews (1977) and Universal Soldier (1971). She is married to Wilf. They have one child.

In 1992 Maggie Wright and her husband Wilf were running a bar called "Maggie's Tree" on the island of Phuket, off the coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. They adopted a two-year-old Thai girl named "Hao" and moved to Penang Malaysia, where there were better schools and hospitals.

In September 1968, became the first person to appear fully naked on the legitimate British stage, as Helen of Troy in a Royal Shakespeare Theatre production of Marlowe's "Faustus". [Article in The Guardian, 15-02-2007].
