Marvin Worth was born on June 6, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Malcolm X (1992), See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) and Lenny (1974). He was married to Joan Worth. He died on April 22, 1998 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

In his teens, worked as a jazz promoter and organiser of concerts for performers like Charlie Parker and Billie Holiday. Later became manager for comedian Lenny Bruce. From the 1950's, began writing monologues for well-known comics, as well as co-authoring comedic film scripts (three of them in collaboration with Arne Sultan of "Get Smart" fame)..
