Ranch raised in Oregon and Arizona; as a child during America's Bicentennial, she rode ahorseback across 7 states with her family driving a stagecoach along the Overland Trail from Missouri to California. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.F.A. in film; she worked in the family movie livestock business as a wrangler, and later worked in other departments to gain a thorough understanding of the biz. Having experienced first hand the story of the west, Wendy was empowered to write stories on the screen. Her passion is movies that inspire. Her specialty is westerns and historical.
