Biography

Jeff Wolverton grew up in Columbus, Ohio, getting expelled from such prestigious high schools as Upper Arlington. He obtained various degrees at The Ohio State University where he also created animations for stadium scoreboards across the country in a desperate attempt to stay in college until the end of time. He then moved to Los Angeles to work at Walt Disney Feature Animation, where he was a digital artist on "Hercules", "Tarzan", and, oddly, a scratch voice actor for Disney's "Dinosaur". Jeff then randomly drove to various studios where he worked on a truly shocking number of super hero movies, from the good (Three "Spider-Man"'s, two "Deadpool"s), the okay ("Daredevil", "Aquaman", couple "X-Men"s, "The Flash") to the downright confusing ("Green Lantern"). He went from being an FX Artist to an FX Lead to an FX supervisor to being a CG Supe, whatever that is. Inexplicably deciding he could write movies, Jeff once wrote the screenplay for the animated feature "Sinbad: Beyond the Veil of Mists", an animated film with voices by Brendan Fraser, Leonard Nimoy and Mark Hamill, that is still today widely regarded as the best film ever written starring those three particular actors in an animated movie beginning with the letter 'S'. Now known as a screenwriter with the uncanny talent of knowing not only where, but when, to capitalize words, Jeff quickly sold other as-yet-unproduced-and-probably-never-will-be screenplays. Jeff has also pitched feature ideas to Disney, Sony, Fox, and several smaller studios. Jeff pitched, wrote and rewrote the Academy Award winning (and BAFTA Nominated) short film "The ChubbChubbs!", where he was also the voice of the titular (it's a real word, look it up) characters, a role he later reprized for the sequel. He then inexplicably decided he could perform stand-up comedy and improvised stage comedy and and began performing on stages around Los Angeles, London, Vancouver and Toronto (he gets lost a lot.) Jeff continues to create visual effects, write screenplays, tell jokes and truly loves referring to himself in the third person.
