- Award-winning actress and director Katheryn Winnick is best known for her starring role as 'Lagertha' in the critically acclaimed, Emmy award-winning series "Vikings." Winnick was also the series lead of ABC's "Big Sky" created by David E. Kelley.
On the big screen, Winnick has appeared opposite Al Pacino, Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin, Liam Neeson, and many more. She starred in and produced Sean Penn's "Flag Day" which premiered at Cannes and was the female lead and Co-EP of Netflix's "Wu Assassins."
Winnick made her directorial debut in the sixth and final season of "Vikings." Through her production company, Kat Scratch Inc., Winnick is currently developing multiple projects for film and television with an emphasis on literary adaptations and inspirational stories.
Recently, Winnick founded The Winnick Foundation - an organization providing humanitarian assistance to women and children in need across the globe.

- Holds a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a second-degree black belt in Karate. She is also a licensed bodyguard.
