Biography

Gahan Wilson was born on February 18, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Monsters (1988), It's True! (1998) and The Freeway Maniac (1989). He was married to Nancy Winters. He died on November 21, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

His father was a steel company executive, and his mother handled publicity for a department store.

He was a writer and cartoonist famous for his bizarre drawings and black humor. His work was published in Playboy, The New Yorker, National Lampoon, and other magazines.

He served in the Air Force and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago.

His wife author Nancy Winters was born Nancy Dee Midyette.
