George M. Williamson was born on June 12, 1885 in Liverpool, England, UK. He was an actor and cinematographer, known for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1916), The Submarine Eye (1917) and How Life Begins (1916). He was married to Ruth. He died on May 23, 1956 in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Immigrated to the U.S.A. on 19 June 1893.

With brother J. Ernest Williamson, founded the Submarine Film Corp. (1917-24; aka Williamson Submarine Film Corp.).
