Tom Williams was born on August 15, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for The Great Outdoors (1988), Adam-12 (1968) and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990). He died on December 28, 2018 in Woodland Hills, California, USA.

Before his career in television, Thomas performed in 30+ musicals around the country.

He worked as a radio announcer in Chicago and Atlanta, and worked in Special Services shows during his tour of duty with the Air Force for 28 months during the Korean War.
