Biography

Lorraine Williams was born on January 28, 1919 in Portland, Oregon, USA. She was a writer, known for Bozo's Circus (1951), The Cowboy (1954) and Tales of the Vikings (1959). She was married to Elmo Williams. She died on August 16, 2004 in Brookings, Oregon, USA.

Served as a Parks and Recreation commissioner and was president of the Azalea Park Foundation.

Capella by the Sea in Azalea Park in Brookings, Oregon, was built by Elmo Williams in memory of his wife of 66 years. The chapel was completed in 2008 and is rented for celebrations. Volunteers keep the doors open for the public to visit.
