Biography

Gordon Williams was born on June 20, 1934 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, UK. He was a writer, known for Straw Dogs (2011), Straw Dogs (1971) and Hazell (1978). He was married to Claerwen Jones. He died on August 20, 2017.

With Terry Venables he co-wrote the TV series "Hazell" (1978). Neither writer was credited under his own name; instead a combined pseudonym Terry Venables was used in the credits.

Used to work as Commercial Manager for Chelsea Football Club.
