Patrick Whitesell is a leading figure in the entertainment industry, widely recognized for his long-standing leadership at Endeavor and William Morris Endeavor (WME). As a top talent agent and executive, he has been instrumental in shaping the careers of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Hugh Jackman, and Angelina Jolie.
Whitesell began his career in the mailroom before rising to prominence as a high-level agent at United Talent Agency (UTA) and later as the head of the talent department at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). In 2001, he joined Endeavor as a partner, eventually orchestrating the historic 2009 merger with William Morris to create WME, one of the most powerful talent agencies in the world.
Beyond film and television, Whitesell has expanded his influence into global sports and media. He served as the executive chairman of Endeavor and played a key role in the company's acquisition and management of the UFC. Recently, he transitioned into a new venture, launching WIN Sports Group to focus on international football representation and media investments.
A graduate of Luther College, Whitesell is an associate member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences and has previously served on the California Film Commission. He remains a central force in the evolution of the global entertainment and sports landscape.
