- Volney White was born on May 20, 1907. He was a director, known for Love in a Cottage (1940), Hairless Hector (1941) and Touchdown Demons (1940). He died on December 23, 1966.
- Animator, who worked in Norman McCabe's unit on early Looney Tunes cartoons at Warner Brothers in the 1930's. Thought to have been the first Bugs Bunny animator.
- At 23 he was production supervisor, animator, and probable director for the short-lived cartoon studio Romer Grey Pictures Ltd. (1930-1931). In 1933 White sued Grey for breach of contract and unpaid salary, demanding $750,000 in damages. He was awarded $900.
