Verdine White was born on 25 July 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Think Like a Man (2012), Mr. Church (2016) and Be Cool (2005). He has been married to Shelly Clark since 1980. They have one child.

Brother of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0925200/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Maurice White</a> <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0924802/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Fred White</a>, and Patt Adams.
