Biography

Richard Wherrett was born in 1941 in Australia. He was a director, known for The Girl Who Met Simone de Beauvoir in Paris (1980), Billy's Holiday (1995) and Jesus Christ Superstar (1992). He died on December 7, 2001 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1984 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to the theatre as a producer and director.
