She has been deemed "The Adele of Audiobooks" by The New Yorker, "The Michael Jordan of Audio" by General David Petraeus, and "The Meryl Streep of Audiobooks" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. She is also the founder of Julia Whelan's Audiobrary, a publishing and distribution audiobook company.
