Edna West was born on February 1, 1885 in Greenup, Kentucky, USA. She was an actress, known for Half Way to Heaven (1929), The Right to Love (1930) and High Peril (1939). She died on February 7, 1963 in Middletown, New York, USA.

Began her career on the New York City stage at the age of sixteen. Sister of actress Lillian West.

She was injured in a tax accident in 1945 which ended her stage and screen career.
