- Walter Werner was born on April 11, 1883 in Görlitz, Germany. He was an actor, known for Notorious (1946), Gone with the Wind (1939) and High Noon (1952). He died on January 8, 1956 in West Berlin, West Germany.
- After the war, Werner was initially employed at the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
