Biography

Vicky Werckmeister was born on April 27, 1902 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Lulu, die Löwentänzerin (1914), Dolly macht Karriere (1930) and Zirkus des Lebens (1921). She died in 1968.

Her father was director Hans Werckmeister and her sister actress Luise Werckmeister.

She already appeared in a movie in 1914 for the first time for "Lulu, die Löwentänzerin" (1914), from 1919 she acted regular in front of the camera.

Vicky Werckmeister impersonated numerous support roles in the 30s.

Besides her activity as an actress she also appeared as a singer and she published several records.

After acting and dancing lessons she began her stage career in 1918. It followed appearances at cabarets and theaters in Berlin.
