Biography

Vince Welnick was born on February 21, 1951 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for The Tubes: Prime Time (1979), Xanadu (1980) and Top of the Pops (1964). He was married to Lorie. He died on June 2, 2006 in Forestville, California, USA.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of Grateful Dead) in 1994.

After the breakup of Grateful Dead, formed own group, "Missing Man Formation".
