Eric Briant Wells was born on April 30, 1965 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor, known for The Goonies (1985), Fortress (1992) and Lethal Weapon 3 (1992). He was married to Mary Nakae Wells. He died on September 27, 2001 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

The son of Frank Wells (IV), president and COO of The Walt Disney Company (1984-1994).

Eric's death was a suicide, although no reason was given.

He has appeared in one film that has been selected for the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically" significant: The Goonies (1985).
