Biography

Toni Weiss is a live-action & animation director with a career of more than 20 years in commercials, music video, animation, and feature films He has also directed 2nd Unit on Oscar winner Stefan Ruzowitzky's first US feature film "All The Queen's Men" (starring Matt LeBlanc and Eddie Izzard). Toni has won numerous awards for his commercials. His music video "Billie Jean" by The Bates was included in the MTV music video library as an MTV classic. He recently directed DADDY, an award-winning horror short film.

As a screenwriter, Toni has written for broadcasting, digital, and feature films. His credits include the TV series NOT...TO BE CONTINUED, TV film PROJECT: GEMINI (a Sci-fi cloning thriller), DARK TOWER (an award-winning screenplay about a children's with trial). He was Head Of Story on WELCOME TO SIEGHEILKIRCHEN, an animated smash hit for Oscar-winning producer Joseph Aicholzer, and has created the web series DISHY DIARIES and children's animated adventure series INFINIMIX: MISSION AFRICA (animated pilots) and numerous other screenplays.

Recently, Toni is in development for several feature film projects and series, among them: STATION (a horror film for Netflix), TOUCHED BY THE GODS, a Y/A romantic musical adventure for Lieblingsfilm and DADDY, a one-location horror film. The short film on which this script is based has won an Outstanding Achievement Award for Horror Short at the Los Angeles Independent Short Film Festival.
