Biography

Heinz Weiss was born on June 12, 1921 in Stuttgart, Germany. He was an actor, known for The Great Escape (1963), Death and Diamonds (1968) and The Violin Case Murders (1965). He was married to Elfriede Willer. He died on November 20, 2010 in Grünwald, Munich, Germany.

German TV star of the 1950's and 60's with extensive stage experience. Trained under Kurt Junker at the Württembergische Staatstheater Stuttgart after military service in World War II. On screen, often seen as as dependable men of action in war films or crime dramas. Married to the dancer Elfriede Willer.
