In 1965, he co-wrote the teleplay for an unsold comedy series pilot called "Legal Eagle", which starred Will Hutchins as a dumb junior lawyer who always managed to outwit his smarter colleagues.
Along with his collaborators, won two Tony Awards in 1962 for "How to
Succeed in Business Without Really Trying:" as Best Author (Musical)
and for book as part of Best Musical win.
