Cyril H. Wecht was born on 20 March 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for JFK (1991), Concussion (2015) and City of Champions. He was married to Sigrid Ronsdal. He died on 13 May 2024 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Earned an undergraduate degree in 1952 and a M.D. degree in 1956 from the University of Pittsburgh, and a J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Has performed over 17,000 autopsies and supervised 30,000 more.

Resident of the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Wecht, one of the nation&#39;s leading forensic doctors, has written
several books and articles covering the autopsies and causes of death
related to celebrities and other notables.
