Ben Webster was born on June 2, 1864 in London, England, UK. He was an actor, known for The Old Curiosity Shop (1934), Drake the Pirate (1935) and The Gay Lord Quex (1917). He was married to May Whitty. He died on February 26, 1947 in Hollywood, California, USA.

Tried to defy family tradition by practicing law rather than the more honorable profession of acting. Within two years of his passing the bar he had seen the error of his ways and had returned to the stage.
