- Anton Webern was born on December 3, 1883 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was a composer, known for The Exorcist (1973), Woman in Chains (1968) and Ruf an das Gewissen (1949). He was married to Wilhelmine Mörtl. He died on September 15, 1945 in Mittersill, Salzburg, Austria.

- Webern's only son, Peter (1912-1945), was killed in action during World War II.
