Johnny Wayne was born on May 28, 1918 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was an actor and writer, known for Behind the Candelabra (2013), The Wayne & Shuster Superspecial (1976) and The Wayne and Shuster Years (1991). He died on July 18, 1990 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Interred at Holy Blossom Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Inducted to Canada's Walk of Fame in 1999 with his comedy partner, Frank Shuster.
