Sybille Waury was born on 9 May 1970 in Düsseldorf, Germany. She is an actress, known for Lindenstraße (1985), Schulz & Schulz (1989) and The Invincibles (1994). She is married to Joachim Friedmann. They have two children.

Performed on stage at several German theaters and in Kyoto, Japan.

Plays the flute, saxophone and kotsuzumi (a Japanese drum).

Studied art history, German and Japanese studies at the University of Cologne.

Lives in Berlin with her husband <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0295405/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Joachim Friedmann</a> and their daughters Zoe (born in 1999) and Mia (born in 2003).
